Our friend Alysia is off to Bali tomorrow to follow a dream. Tonight we watched the Vancouver sunset with her to celebrate her new life. We’re going to miss you.

I Work in the Tower
I’ve posted lots of views from my desk but this is a look back at Shaw Tower. My desk is on the 8th floor near the center of the building on this elevation, right under the deck on the right side.
Work in Progress
Fox Sports is building a multi-storey temporary broadcasting location in Jack Poole Plaza, across from where I work and near the Olympic Cauldron in Vancouver. This is for use during the upcoming Fifa Women’s World Cup of Soccer in June and July. I’ll post another when it’s finished.

My wife’s Aunt Holly rescues cats. Arnold is the father of the latest batch of 6 in total. He’s so loving, fat and soft. Great cat.

We had some awesome fried chicken in Squamish today. We miscalculated and ordered way too much. On the upside we’ll have a late night snack before bed.
