Here’s fun photo of Oscar that I shot a while ago and edited with iDarkroom HD. It turned out kind of nice. This is also a quick test post from the WordPress app for iPad.

For the third year in a row, Carol and myself went spent Halloween with the Sauriol family in Vancouver. This year I had my Nikon D5100 which performs well when shooting in low light. It’s nice not to have to use a flash and I get some creative results.

This is Adam and his friend trick or treating. The door to the house seems to be sitting in the middle of nowhere with spooky creatures peering out from within.

This is Patrick and his daughter in silhouette. I caught this one while we were watching a small fireworks display in the courtyard of their complex.

I took this photo with a Nikon D5100 and a 70-300 mm Sigma lens at Dr. Sun Yat Sen Gardens in Vancouver, B.C. Canada in September of 2011. A lot of folks tell me that this frog looks as though he smiling. I think so too.

I snapped this photo with my Google Android Nexus S just outside the Christchurch Cathedral. The phone takes fairly decent photos and some of the apps for Android are fairly decent, however I prefer the iPhone apps and the recent release of the Apple iPhone 4S  has me considering an upgrade especially after reading about the specs for the camera in it.
