<p>For the third year in a row, <a href="http://carolbrowne.com/" title="CarolBrowne.com">Carol</a> and myself went spent Halloween with the Sauriol family in Vancouver. This year I had my <a href="http://d5100.ca/" title="d5100.ca - Nikon's official Canadian D5100 site">Nikon D5100</a> which performs well when shooting in low light. It&#8217;s nice not to have to use a flash and I get some creative results.</p>

This is Adam and his friend trick or treating. The door to the house seems to be sitting in the middle of nowhere with spooky creatures peering out from within.</p>

<p>I took this photo with a Nikon D5100 and a 70-300 mm Sigma lens at <a href="http://www.vancouverchinesegarden.com/" title="Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden">Dr. Sun Yat Sen Gardens</a> in Vancouver, B.C. Canada in September of 2011. A lot of folks tell me that this frog looks as though he smiling. I think so too.</p>

<p>I snapped this photo with my <a title="Google Nexus S" href="http://www.google.ca/nexus/">Google Android Nexus S</a> just outside the Christchurch Cathedral. The phone takes fairly decent photos and some of the apps for Android are fairly decent, however I prefer the iPhone apps and the recent release of the Apple iPhone 4S  has me considering an upgrade especially after reading about <a title="Apple iPhone 4S camera features" href="http://www.apple.com/iphone/built-in-apps/camera.html">the specs</a> for the camera in it.</p>
